Autoplay can differ between players
A recommendation that mentions auto next, source choices or Picture-in-Picture may describe a particular player. Check whether the service you choose actually offers that control. Here, you can keep a manual series checkpoint independent of the provider's resume history.
When asking for help, describe the title, year, device and interrupted step. Do not post passwords or a private account session. If the issue is simply choosing something else tonight, compare a small collection and keep the original film saved.
